VideoEgg is looking for Data Warehouse Engineers for its Data Warehouse initiative.

• Work with engineers and database administrators to identify, standardize and verify sources of data.
•Direct the planning and design aspects of the Data Warehouse model to ensure new features and subject areas are modeled to integrate with existing structures and provide a consistent view.
•Perform data warehouse performance optimization and tuning. Provide technical leadership within and across all data warehouse enhancement projects.
• Design, develop, test and maintain the ETL (extract-transform-load) processes and programs necessary to load data into a corporate data warehouse, ensuring data quality and reconciliation between source database systems, the data warehouse and front-end business intelligence tools and end-user reports.
• Develop and maintain metadata models, schemas and views to support ad-hoc queries and user-defined reports. Design, develop and maintain operational and analytical reports throughout the organization utilizing standard business intelligence and reporting tools.

• BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field preferred
• Proven ability to develop: ROLAP/dimensional schema design and modeling, ETL scripts/programs for populating a data warehouse
• Experience with: MS SQL Server 6.5/7/2000/2005, DTS/SSIS, Analysis Services (OLAP) preferred, Business Objects/Crystal Reports XIR2 preferred, Cognos, Brio/Hyperion or Microstrategy a plus, ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter, IBM Ascential/DataStage, Business Objects Data Integrator, AB Initio, etc.) a plus, Data cleansing methodologies and tools a plus
• Must have the ability to identify and resolve problems as well as the judgment to determine optimal design for reports and data warehouse enhancements
• Knowledge of statistical concepts and their application in reporting and data warehouse applications
• Ability to work directly with business staff to translate requirements into technical and reporting deliverables. Must possess understanding of good report user interface design – when to use each type of chart, matching design to targeted audience, and understanding business requirements to ensure report design clearly meets purpose.
